Insider Tip
The sunset flight is the most popular time to go. If you prefer to see all the details of the canyon walls, a midday flight is best. For summer trips, early morning flights are a good choice because the canyon is cooler then. You can ask for a specific seat, but they can't promise it. Your seat will be decided based on the helicopter's weight and balance for safety. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Also, your hotel pickup time might be anywhere from 40 minutes to 2 hours before your actual flight time, so be ready.
Important Info
Be sure to check in 30 minutes early; late arrivals may lose their flight and money. If you weigh over 300 lbs, you'll need to buy an extra seat. Each helicopter holds a max of 7 travelers, and everyone 18+ needs a photo ID. Hotel pickup is 90 minutes before your flight. Seating is assigned by weight, so you might not sit with your group. This tour is not wheelchair accessible. If you appear intoxicated, service will be refused without a refund.
