450
What This Is
40,000-acres, out-of-this-world rock formations, fiery red cliffs, ancient petrified trees, 2,000 year old drawings on rocks— this is all waiting for you with Las Vegas to Valley of Fire tours!
Beehive Rock, with intricate textures and mesmerizing patterns, will show you some of nature’s artistic touch. A path through rocky dunes to Muddy Mountains awaits. Offering a glimpse of stories of early inhabitants, Atlatl Rock is a fascinating site with 2,000 to 4,000-year-old petroglyphs etched forever into red sandstone. Sounds like a lot? Keep in mind, this is a hiking tour!
With deli lunch at a peaceful retreat among towering sandstone formations, you’ll then travel to Rainbow Vista, a wonder of swirling rock formations that come alive as the sun enhances their fiery colors, as well as Fire Canyon and Silica Dome (may be closed in summer due to high temperatures.) Elephant Rock is sandstone that, well, is what it sounds like. Fire Wave is a striped sandstone wonder that resembles an ocean wave, with swirls of red, white, and pink carved by time (be aware Fire Wave is closed from May 15 to October 1, 2025, for safety during extreme heat.) You can then relax, learn history, and explore exhibits at the Valley of Fire at the Visitor Center.
These small-group Valley of Fire tours from Las Vegas will pick you up directly from major Las Vegas Strip resorts. A delicious deli-style sandwich lunch and snacks are included. Just a heads-up: sometimes the scenic stops might change because of weather, park rules, or vehicle size.
