1. Introduction
At Diskovar, we understand that travel plans may change. This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains the cancellation conditions, refund eligibility and payment arrangements applicable to bookings made through our platform.
Diskovar is operated by TripInBlink Global Private Limited and provides an online marketplace connecting travellers with independent local tour guides, tour operators and travel service providers worldwide.
The cancellation policy applicable to a booking will be displayed alongside the tour proposal before the traveller confirms the reservation. Travellers are advised to carefully review the payment and cancellation conditions before making a booking.
Diskovar will be the primary point of contact for all cancellation, refund and booking modification requests. Our team will coordinate with the relevant service providers internally.
2. Payment and Cancellation Policies
For eligible private tours, the service provider may offer one of the following cancellation policies:

3. Payment and Cancellation Conditions for Group Tours
Group tours may involve fixed departure dates, shared transportation, accommodation, entrance tickets, event reservations, minimum participant requirements and other advance arrangements. Due to the nature of group bookings, cancellation and refund conditions may vary depending on the tour and the arrangements involved.
For group tours, Diskovar will review each cancellation request based on the specific circumstances, including:
- Time remaining before the scheduled departure.
- Whether the group departure has been confirmed.
- Transportation and accommodation reservations.
- Entrance tickets and other advance bookings.
- Non-refundable costs already incurred.
- Number of participants booked.
- Whether the tour can still operate as scheduled.
- Other relevant circumstances affecting the booking.
Depending on the situation, the traveller may be eligible for:
- A full refund.
- A partial refund.
- A refund after applicable cancellation deductions.
- Rescheduling to another departure.
- Travel credit for a future booking, where agreed.
- No refund, where the applicable booking conditions provide for non-refundable arrangements.
The applicable group tour cancellation conditions will be communicated before payment and booking confirmation.
Diskovar will assess the request and communicate the final outcome directly to the traveller.
4. Cancellation by the Traveller
Travellers wishing to cancel a confirmed booking must submit their cancellation request directly to Diskovar at support@diskovar.com.
The cancellation request should include the booking reference number, traveller name and scheduled tour date.
The applicable cancellation policy will determine the refund eligibility.
The cancellation date and time will be determined based on when Diskovar receives the cancellation request.
5. No-Show Policy
If a traveller fails to arrive at the agreed meeting point at the scheduled time without prior notice, the booking will generally be treated as a no-show.
- Under Flexible and Moderate policies, no refund will be provided for full online payments in such cases.
- For partial-payment bookings, the applicable advance deposit will remain non-refundable.
- Strict bookings are non-refundable.
Exceptional circumstances may be reviewed where required by applicable law.
6. Cancellation by a Guide or Tour Operator
Guides and operators are expected to honour confirmed bookings. If a guide or operator becomes unavailable or cannot deliver a confirmed tour, Diskovar must be informed promptly.
In such situations, Diskovar will coordinate with the relevant parties and may offer the traveller:
- A replacement guide or operator.
- An alternative tour.
- A change of date.
- Rescheduling.
- A refund of the amount paid for the affected booking.
If a suitable alternative cannot be arranged or accepted by the traveller, Diskovar will process the applicable refund.
Where the cancellation is attributable to the service provider, the traveller will not be charged a cancellation fee for the affected service.
Where a service provider cancels or materially changes a confirmed tour, the service provider remains responsible for communicating the issue and cooperating with Diskovar to identify an appropriate solution. Diskovar will coordinate the booking response and any refund of amounts it has collected, in accordance with the confirmed booking terms and applicable law.
7. Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Circumstances
Certain circumstances may affect the delivery of a tour, including:
- Extreme weather conditions.
- Natural disasters.
- Political unrest or civil disturbances.
- Government restrictions.
- Public health emergencies.
- Transportation disruptions.
- Safety concerns.
- Other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Diskovar will review such cases individually and coordinate with the relevant service provider.
Depending on the circumstances, travellers may be offered rescheduling, an alternative arrangement, a partial refund or a full refund.
8. Booking Modifications
Travellers may request changes to confirmed bookings, including travel dates, tour timings, group size, itinerary, meeting points and additional services.
All modification requests must be submitted to Diskovar. Changes will be subject to availability and confirmation.
Additional charges may apply if the requested changes affect the original booking price or involve additional arrangements.
If a requested change cannot be accommodated, Diskovar will communicate the available alternatives.
9. Deposits and Payments Made Directly to Service Providers
Where a booking allows partial online payment, the remaining balance may be payable directly to the guide or operator as specified in the confirmed proposal.
The applicable cancellation policy will determine the treatment of the initial online deposit.
For any additional amounts paid directly to a service provider, Diskovar will assist in reviewing the relevant booking and payment records. Any refund of such amounts will be assessed according to the agreed booking arrangements and applicable law.
Travellers should retain payment receipts and confirmation records for any direct payments.
10. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method wherever possible.
Diskovar will initiate approved refunds within a reasonable period after the cancellation request has been reviewed and approved.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the traveller's account may depend on the payment gateway, issuing bank or financial institution.
Travellers will be informed once the refund has been initiated.
